Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs typical press operations to support production department.
• Review job ticket and work with Press Helper to ensure job is set up properly on the press per required specifications and job notes (ink, dies, stock, plates).
• Run the job setup on the press and log data related to the job setup in the system.
• Run the job per specifications and log when completed, noting material used, etc.
• While running the press, review printed rolls for quality and consistency related to all aspects of the labels including color registration and die cut.
• Following completion of the job, move finished roll to finishing department and breakdown and clean machine in preparation for the next job.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager regarding any issues with the labels and dies.
• Ensure proper data collection for each job, including job notes on material and time variance.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of the press along with the Press Helper and Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and machines in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed company policies and safety regulations.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and participate in training when offered or needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve processes.
• Coordinate with department heads to establish quality objectives and ensure they are communicated and understood across the organization.
• Facilitate management reviews to evaluate the QMS performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and certifications related to ISO 9001.
• Analyze data and metrics to monitor QMS performance and identify trends or issues that require attention.
• Promote a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred.
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and managing audit programs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with quality management software is a plus.
