Thermal Transfer Ribbons for RFID Printing

Starport Technologies has extensive experience performing thermal transfer printing for a variety of RFID applications. While direct thermal printing is applied directly to the media, thermal transfer printing is first applied to the ribbon, which then transfers it to the media. Thermal transfer printing is ideal for many RFID applications due to the increased longevity of the printed media, as well as a larger pool of compatible materials that you could not print on with direct thermal printing.
