The Portunus tag was designed specifically to work on metal and other hard to read surfaces. Its unique design gives this Class I Gen 2 tag the ability to have read ranges of up to 30 feet on metal, liquids, wood, glass, or free space. Its robust design is perfect for outdoor use and stands up well in harsh environments. Its poly carbonate core is the basis for the most rugged tag on the market and its form factor is thin and user friendly.
